Q: What is a computer driver?

A: Put simply a computer driver is a program that allows Windows to communicate with your PC's hardware.

Q: Why do I need to update my computer's drivers?

A: Without drivers none of your PC's hardware such as modem, video card, audio card, printer, network card, etc. would function. If you do not have the latest driver version your hardware may not work properly or may perform poorly.

Q: What is Driver Genius?
